State Police Looking for Wanted Dover Sex Offender

ELLENDALE, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for an Dover sex offender wanted for failure to verify his current address with authorities. 
 
Investigators said they obtained warrants for 34-year-old Norman E. Singleton, who is a Tier III (high-risk) sex offender, after they learned that he failed to register his home address and had not notified the DSP Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit of his status within three days as he is required to do by law. 
 
Singleton is described as black male, 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. According to the Delaware Sex Offender Registry, Singleton was convicted in June 1992 of attempted first-degree unlawful sexual intercourse with a victim between the ages of 1 and 11.
 
Anyone with information on Singleton's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 or (302) 739-5882.  Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Callers can also submit information via www.tipsubmit.com.
