MAGNOLIA, Del.- Authorities say a young girl is dead, and three others were injured following a Wednesday night fire at a house trailer in Magnolia.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office said the blaze, reported shortly before 11 p.m., occurred in the 100 block of Juanita Drive in London Village off of Mill Chop Lane. The Magnolia Fire Company arrived on the scene with flames shooting from the house trailer.

Fire officials said the body of 11-year-old Andromeda Brown was found inside the house trailer. Three others, including a 56-year-old woman, a 14-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl, were injured.

The adult victim and the two surviving children were taken to Kent General Hospital in Dover for treatment of injuries. The adult victim and the 2-year-old girl were later transferred to the Crozer-Chester Burn Center in Upland, Pa., where the adult is listed in critical condition and the 2-year-old is listed in serious condition. The 14-year-old was treated for burns and abrasions at KGH and released.

Close family friends of the victims said the 56-year-old victim was the grandmother of Andromeda and the 14-year-old. They said the 2-year-old girl was adopted.

Following an autopsy, the State Medical Examiner's office ruled Andromeda's death an accident.

The fire caused an estimated $35,000 to the house trailer. State fire investigators are still searching for the fire's origin and cause. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to call State Fire Marshal's – Headquarters Division at (302) 739-4447.
