CENTREVILLE, Md.- Investigators are searching for the cause of a Thursday morning fire that broke out inside a second floor classroom of the Queen Anne's County High School.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said the blaze caused the evacuation and subsequent closure of the school, located on Ruthsburg Road in Centreville. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The fire was contained to the classroom with moderate smoke and fire damage. The fire
was contained before activation of the fire sprinkler system.
