TOWNSEND, Del. (AP) - State police say they arrested two people after discovering a methamphetamine lab at their Townsend home.
Police were called to the home on Friday to check on the welfare of a child. They say they found both the ingredients and the materials needed to manufacture, meth, as well as the drug itself in various stages of production.
Police say 29-year-old Robert Coburn of Smyrna and 27-year-old Spring Slater of Townsend were arrested. Each faces several charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine and endangering the welfare of a child. Coburn's 6-year-old son was removed from the home and is with relatives.
Police say charges are pending against a third man, 30-year-old Richard Taylor, who's currently in prison and was part of the operation.
