Dover Man Arrested for Child Rape

DOVER, Del.- Police have arrested a Dover man accused of raping a 9-year-old child.

Alexander Acevedo-Felix, 34, was arrested Thursday by Dover police and charged with 11 counts of first-degree rape, five counts of second-degree sexual abuse by a person of trust, endangering the welfare of a child and indecent exposure.

Following his arrest on the aforementioned charges, Acevedo-Felix was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $385,500 secured bond.
