EASTON, Md.- Police are looking for three suspects wanted for robbing a man at gunpoint late Thursday night.
Easton police said that at around 10:30 p.m., a man was using the Rails to Trails near August Street to walk to work when three men approached him from behind. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim turn over his backpack, according to investigators. After receiving the item, the suspect with the gun then allegedly struck the victim in the head. The three suspects then ran away and were last seen heading toward Dover Street.
The victim did not required medical treatment, according to police.
Police said all three suspects were described as wearing hooded sweatshirts. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Easton Police Department's Tip Line at (410) 763-6140.
