ACCOMAC, Va. (AP)- Structures on Virginia's Eastern Shore continue to be targets for an arsonist.

Virginia State Police tell media outlets that 36 fires have been set in Accomack County since Nov. 13.

Officials say no one has been injured by the fires and the structures have all been unoccupied and abandoned.

Accomack County officials say there are as many as 800 abandoned structures in the county.
Investigators believe most cases are the work of the same arsonist, but they aren't ruling out the possibility that some may be the work of a copycat.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
