Del. State Police Arrest Teen in Investigation of Heroin Sale

MILFORD, Del-The Milford Police Department's Drug and Narcotics Unit, along with the assistance of the Delaware State Police, arrested a 16-year-old following a several week investigation into the sale of heroin.  

Officers attempted to contact the teen in the 900 block of Southeast 2nd Street.  

Police said the teen first took off but was then taken into custody following a short pursuit.  

Authorities found the teen with an undisclosed amount of heroin.  

The juvenile has been charged with three counts of possession with the intent to deliver heroin, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief.  

The teenager was arraigned in Lewes where bail was set at $10,100 secured.  

The teen has been committed to the Stevenson Center in Milford and has a pending court appearance in the Sussex County Family Court.
