BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- A fire that left a Bridgeville area home in ruins Thursday night has left a family of four displaced.
Fire officials said the blaze broke out at around 9 p.m. at a home on the 14000 block of Sussex High (Route 13). The fire was placed under control in about half an hour.
The family inside the home escaped without injury. They are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the origin and cause of the fire.
