Tractor-Trailer Containing Crab Steamer Pots Stolen From Cambridge Company

CAMBRIDGE, Md.- Police have launched an investigation after a truck and a trailer that contained 55 stainless steel crab steamer pots were stolen from Kool Ice and Seafood located at Washington Street in Cambridge.

Cambridge police said the incident was reported the morning of Sunday, Dec. 23. Responding officers met with Kool Ice managers who told them that sometime during the night an unknown person took the 1999 Peterbilt truck, along with the trailer that contained the steamer pots.

The total estimated loss was more than $170,000.

Police said that on Christmas Eve, the stolen Peterbilt truck was recovered in Glen Bernie, Md. Anyone with information concerning this theft is asked to contact the Cambridge Police Department at (410) 228-3333.
