Fire Displaces Salisbury Residents

SALISBURY, Md.- Members of a Salisbury family were displaced after a fire ripped through their home late Saturday night.

The blaze happened at around 11:45 p.m. at a home on East Vine Street.

Firefighters tell WBOC that the fire may have started in a basement apartment.

Four occupants, including children, were able to safely get out of the home.

Firefighters from all three Salisbury stations responded to the scene.

The Red Cross has been called in to help the displaced family.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
