Man Dies After Crashing Car into Hospital

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP)- The Carroll County Sheriff's Office says a 78-year-old man died after his car crashed into the Carroll Hospital Center.

It happened about 8:15 a.m. Monday. Deputies say Thomas Carl Skipper Jr. of Westminster suffered a medical emergency and crashed his vehicle into the sleep center at the hospital.

Police say Skipper was pronounced dead at the hospital emergency room. He was alone in his car and no one else was injured.

Deputies described the damage at the sleep center as minor. The crash is under investigation.
