11-Hour Barricade Situation Over in Wicomico County

SALISBURY, Md.- Maryland State Police say an armed man barricaded himself in a home on Dagsboro Road in Salisbury for about 11 hours Wednesday into Thursday.

Police said they got a call for a domestic dispute around 3 p.m. Wednesday with the incident ending around 2 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities said the incident happened on Dagsboro Road between Brown and Zion roads.

The man who barricaded himself inside a home was armed, according to police. His name has not yet been released.

Police say the other person in the alleged domestic dispute incident was not harmed.

Authorities said the incident came to an end when the barricaded man ended his own life.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
