Women's Hoops Dropped By Mary Washington

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – Wesley College's women's basketball team fell to Mary Washington, 53-29, on Saturday afternoon in Capital Athletic Conference action.  The Wolverines fall to 2-10 overall and 0-3 in the CAC while the Eagles improve to 9-3 on the year and 2-0 in league play.

Jazmine Miller scored 11 points while Heather Fuller and Pez Scott added nine points apiece to lead the Wolverines, who shot just 22% from the floor.  Fuller also pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds, just missing out on a double-double.

Mary Washington led the entire game and was led by Aby Diop's 13 points and ten rebounds.

The Wolverines return to action on Wednesday, January 9, when they travel to take on CAC rival Frostburg State in a 4 pm tipoff.
