ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty to fatally shooting a father of three outside a Glen Burnie tavern has been sentenced to life in prison.
Thirty-four-year-old Clayton Battle will be eligible for parole in 15 years. He was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to first-degree murder in the shooting of Kelly Fisher of Glen Burnie on Dec. 4, 2010.
Prosecutors say Battle got out of his car in front of Dietrich's Tavern, pointed a rifle at Fisher and shot him three times.
