DOVER, Del.- Authorities say a woman suffered minor injuries in an early Sunday evening driveby shooting at a home on Ann Avenue in Dover.

Dover police said the incident happened at around 6:30 p.m., when a dark colored vehicle
pulled up in front of the home and approximately five to six shots were fired at the dwelling and at the open garage where two people were seated. A 44-year-old woman was struck in the back by what appeared to be a ricochet or small fragment from the round. The victim was taken to Bay Health Hospital where she was treated and released.

Shell casings recovered at the scene indicated a 9mm handgun was used in the shooting, investigators said. Police have no suspect information at this time.
