Troopers said that 20-year-old Ryan S. King was taken into custody last Thursday after detectives received information he had burglarized numerous homes in the Pine Ridge development east of Harrington. Police said a search warrant executed at his home led to the recovery of items such as jewelry, video games, and clothing that had been stolen from five homes located in Pine Ridge, as well as one house in the neighboring Wren's Way development.

As a result of the investigation, King was charged with six counts of second-degree burglary, five counts of theft, five counts of criminal mischief and one count of attempted second-degree burglary.  He was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $77,500 secured bond.
