Police Looking for Wanted Dover Sex Offender

ELLENDALE, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for an Dover sex offender wanted for failure to verify his current address as homeless. 
 
Investigators said they obtained warrants for 49-year-old Julius T. Daniels, who is a Tier III (high-risk) sex offender, after they learned that he failed to register his current address as homeless within seven days as he is required to do by law. 
 
Daniels is described as black, 6-foot-tall, 200 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. According to the Delaware Sex Offender Registry, Daniels was convicted in January 2002 of second-degree unlawful sexual contact with a victim between the ages of 12 and 15. He was also convicted in December 2008 of third-degree unlawful sexual contact of a victim between the ages of 1 and 11.
 
Anyone with information on Daniels' whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 or (302) 739-5882.  Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Callers can also submit information via www.tipsubmit.com.
