O'Malley Hires Teddy Davis as Communications Head - WBOC-TV 16, Delmarvas News Leader, FOX 21 -

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP)- Gov. Martin O'Malley has hired Teddy Davis, the former deputy political director for ABC News, as director of strategic communications for the O'Malley administration.

The Democratic governor made the announcement Friday.

Davis most recently worked as press secretary to Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. He also spent seven years at ABC News.

Davis is scheduled to begin working in the O'Malley administration in mid-February.
