Virginia State Police Investigating Apparent Arson in Parksley

PARKSLEY, Va.- Virginia State Police are assisting the Parksley Volunteer Fire Department in investigating as arson a fire that occurred Saturday night at an unoccupied outbuilding.

According to police, the outbuilding, located in the 18000 block of Cassatt Avenue in Parksley, sustained some structural damage but was not a total loss.

Police said there were no injuries reported, and the method of origin is believed to be associated with the other fires started in Accomack County.
