Another Suspected Arson Being Probed in Accomack Co.

WACHAPREAGUE, Va.- Virginia State Police are investigating another suspected arson that occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at an abandoned structure located at the intersection of Drummondtown and Cancetown roads in Wachapreague.

Police said a preliminary investigation suggests arson is a cause of the fire.

This latest fire is part of an ongoing criminal investigation into a string of arsons in Accomack County.

    Hundreds of kites filled the air above the Cape Henlopen State Park for the 46th annual Delaware Kite Festival. Despite some chilly winds, the Lewes Chamber of Commerce said that more than 3,000 people came for the event. They said the event meant more than just fun though, telling WBOC that it creates a large economic boom each year. In the air, various kites could be seen from a multi-colored pelican to a gigantic Garfield, and everything in between.More
