Attempted Murder, Arson Investigation Under Way in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities are asking the public's help for any information that can assist them in their ongoing investigation of an attempted murder and arson that occurred early Monday at a home on the 500 block of Swan Road in Salisbury.

Police said two males were seen running from the home but they need a better description of them. According to investigators, more than nine gunshots were fired at the home at about 1 a.m. Monday. The home caught on fire just minutes later.

No one was hurt,  but police think the people inside at the time may have been a target.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office at (410) 713-3780 or the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation at (410) 548-4898. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at (410) 548-1776.
