DOVER, Del. (AP/WBOC)- An explosives unit at Dover Air Force Base plans to conduct demolitions training that could cause more noise in the area.

The training is scheduled for Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Officials say the training may cause more noise coming from the base's training range, and residents nearby may experience possible ground shaking.

The base warns that if weather is overcast, noise from the training area may travel further.

Munitions training at the base two weeks ago caused some Kent County residents to panic and call 911.
