BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is congratulating former Baltimore Raven Jonathan Ogden on being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The honor was announced Saturday for the retired offensive lineman, who spent a dozen seasons with the Ravens and was voted to 11 Pro Bowls. Former Ravens owner Art Modell was among those who didn't make the cut.
Rawlings-Blake says she was present at the official announcement. The mayor says Ogden is one of the best offensive linemen of all time. She says Ogden is continuing to help young children in Baltimore "to become great adults."
Others selected for the Hall of Fame were Coach Bill Parcells, Warren Sapp, Cris Carter, Jonathan Ogden and Larry Allen.
