WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware's tourism office is launching the "Delaware Culinary Trail," a group of two dozen of the state's most iconic restaurants.
The launch party is being held Tuesday at Harry's Savoy Grill in Wilmington, 1 of the restaurants on the list. Other restaurants on the list include Grotto Pizza, which first opened in Rehoboth Beach in 1960, and the Green Room at Hotel du Pont, a French restaurant in Wilmington that occupies an oak paneled room with gold chandeliers.
The tourism office says anyone who visits 15 of the 24 restaurants can request a free cookbook with recipes from the trail's restaurants. The "First State Plates" cookbook is also being sold for $25. Details about the free cookbook offer are on the trail's website.
