SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for the armed holdup of the Quiznos sub shop located at 842 S. Salisbury Blvd.

Police said the crime happened shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, when a lone suspect entered the business and demanded money at gunpoint. The suspect stole an unspecified amount of cash and other property before running out of the business.

While the business was open at the time of the incident, police said there were no customers inside. None of the employees were injured, according to investigators.

Police said the suspect was described as a black male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, dark colored jeans and dark shoes. He was wearing a mask and was armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers routinely pays cash rewards in amounts up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Police said callers in this case who provide information, even anonymously, will be eligible for a cash reward.
