








NEWARK, Del. (AP)- New Castle County Police say a Newark man has died when the car he was driving hit two trees and burst into flames.
It happened about 7:25 a.m. Thursday in White Clay Creek State Park. Officers say 55-year-old Lindsey Shatley was traveling north on Thompson Station Road when his car left the road.
Police say Shatley's car hit a tree and brushed off another tree before getting stuck off the road and bursting into flames.
Shatley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
