SALISBURY, Md.- The unofficial results are in for Tuesday's Salisbury City Council primary election.
In District 1, April Jackson received 39 votes, Cynthia Polk, 40, and incumbent candidate Shanie Shields received 55. That means Polk and Shields will advance to the general election on April 2.
In District 2, incumbent candidate Debbie Campbell received 271 votes, Jake Day, 803, and Jack Heath, 197.
That means Campbell and Day will face off against each other in the general election.
