Suspect Sought in 2 Milford Convenience Store Burglaries

MILFORD, Del.- Milford police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for burglarizing two convenience stores and attempting to break into a third early Monday morning.

Police said that between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., the unknown suspect gained entry into the Shore Stop, located on the 400 block of Bay Road and The Market Place convenience store, located on the 600 block of NW Front Street, and stole various items.

The suspect also unsuccessfully tried to break inside the Sunoco gas station & convenience store located on the 300 block of Milford-Harrington Highway.

The suspect is described as being of average build, between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-3, wearing a dark jacket, light colored hood on his head, light colored pants and light colored shoes.
