OAK HALL, Va - Fire crews in Accomack County responded to a late Monday night call for a suspected arson fire near Oak Hall.

Virginia State Police said the fire happened at around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Paige Fisher and Nocks Landing roads.

Police said preliminary reports indicate that arson may be the cause of the blaze. If the fire is confirmed to have been intentionally set, it would be the 65th arson fire in the county since mid-November.

Meanwhile, police continue to have checkpoints related to the arsons. Police are handing out flyers with information about a tip line and reward. This past weekend police received about 75 new tips about the fires.

If you know anything about the arson fires in Accomack County, you're encouraged to call or text the phone number (757) 655-1437.

Virginia State Police continue to offer a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in connection to these arsons.
