








DOVER, Del. (AP) - The state Senate has confirmed Gov. Jack Markell's picks to lead Delaware's prison system and children's department.
The Senate voted unanimously Wednesday to confirm former state police superintendent Robert Coupe as the new corrections commissioner. Coupe retired from the state police force in December after 28 years.
Senators also unanimously confirmed Markell's choice of his former education policy adviser, Jennifer Ranji, to be secretary of the state Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families.
