FELTON, Del.- Delaware State Police detectives investigating last month's armed robbery of a Felton convenience store have just released surveillance photos of the suspect in the hope that someone can identify him.

Troopers said that shortly after 2 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, a male suspect armed with a large knife entered the Canterbury Shore Stop at 8953 South DuPont Highway and demanded money from the lone store employee, a 27-year-old female. The employee walked behind the sales counter, removed money from the register, and turned it over to the suspect, who then ran out of the store.

The suspect was described as white, 18-30 years of age, approximately 5-foot-10, average build, and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a light blue knit cap and white cloth over his mouth.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the DSP Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit at (302) 697-2104. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES), or through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. Information can also be submitted via www.tipsubmit.com.
