Va. State Police Investigate Structure Fires as Arson in Parksley

PARKSLEY, Va.- Virginia State Police said they are investigating two related fires in Parksley.

They said it happened around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police said there were two structures burning. The first one was a single wide unoccupied trailer off of John Caine Road. The second fire, a two story wooden framed unoccupied labor house also on the same road.

Police said that the single wide trailer was the target for arson and the wooden labor house, caught fire from the already burning trailer.

No injuries were reported in the fires.

The Virginia State Police urges the public to come forward with any information that can assist in solving the arson cases on the Eastern Shore. 

There continues to be a $25,000 reward offered to any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
