Popular password management app can now securely auto-fill and save web logins.
Milford, CT (PRWEB) March 20, 2013
DataViz Inc., a leading provider of mobile productivity software has announced the availability of a Firefox browser extension for the password storage and management application, Passwords Plus. Currently available for the Windows version of Firefox, the browser extension will automatically pre-fill the username and password fields for existing websites stored in the Passwords Plus app. When logging in to a new site, the browser extension can automatically create a record in Passwords Plus for future use.
“We understand that our customers need a password storage solution that is secure, yet provides easy access to their most important information,” said Eric Vikmanis, Sr. Marketing Manager at DataViz, Inc. “Our browser extension gives customers a way to easily log in to their favorite sites while still providing the high-level security they’ve come to know and expect from Passwords Plus.”
Pricing and Availability
The Passwords Plus browser extension is currently available for the Windows version of Firefox. The extension is included with the Passwords Plus desktop application for Windows, which can be purchased from DataViz for $19.99. Users who have previously purchased Passwords Plus for Windows will receive an update that includes the browser extension at no additional cost. DataViz plans to make this browser extension available for other browsers and operating systems later this year.
