Contest recognizes newly independent Christian authors.

Xulon Press launches its annual Christian Choice Book Awards Contest, which recognizes up to fifty-one authors in seventeen categories with certificate of achievement awards. The contest serves to highlight and honor the best independently published books in the Christian market. This year there are seventeen categories an author can choose from: Autobiography/Biography, Bible Study, Christian Fiction, Christian Living, Counseling/Recovery, Current Events/Politics, Devotional, End-Times, Finance, Health, Marriage, Ministry, Missions, Parenting and Poetry.
Books will be judged based on the following criteria:

Is the book well-written and readable?
- Is the subject matter original?
- Does the material engage the reader?
- Does the book teach, inspire or encourage the reader?
There will be three overall winners:

- $500 cash
Second Place
- Half-Page Ad in the 2013 ICRS & BEA editions of the Christian Book Browser Catalog

Third Place
- Quarter-Page Ad in the 2013 ICRS & BEA editions of the Christian Book Browser Catalog
($998 Value)
Xulon Press is currently accepting completed, full-length, Christian books that have been independently published. The contest closes at midnight on Monday, April 22, 2013.
