HARRINGTON, Del.- Police say a traffic stop led to a 46-year-old Harrington man being charged with his fourth DUI offense.

Harrington police said that on Wednesday, Thomas J. Lepera was pulled over for a traffic violation on Commerce street and a strong odor of alcohol was detected from his vehicle.

He was charged with fourth offense DUI, failure to have insurance identification in possession, failure to have registration in possession, failure to have license in possession, failure to signal turn and two counts of failure to remain in a single lane.

Lepera is being held in the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $4,006 secured bond.
