SALISBURY, Md.- After being out of commission for nearly a year, the Picnic Island pedestrian bridge in the Salisbury City Park is set to reopen. The bridge was repaired by Somerset Paving & Marine just in time for spring.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26. Mayor James Ireton will be on hand and the public is welcomed to attend.
The bridge is located on the southwest side of the City Park.
