Police Looking for Sex Offender in Sussex County

GEORGETOWN, De.- Delaware State Police are asking for the public's help to locate a registered sex offender in Sussex County.

Police are looking for Michael A. Bordley of Georgetown after he failed to verify his current address as homeless. The 41-year-old is described as a black male, 5'6" tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators have obtained warrants on Bordley, who is a high risk Tier 3 sex offender. He failed to re-register his current address as homeless every 7 days, as he is required to do by law.
 
The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone who may know the location of Michael Bordley to call 9-1-1 or 302-672-5306. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword "DSP" plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
