Princess Anne Police Recent Incident Reports

Editor's note: The following press releases were issued by the Princess Anne Department on Tuesday, March 26 and detail recent police activity in the town. They are published exactly as received:

Press Releases:

  • On 3-24-13, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to Dollar General located at 30371 Mt Vernon Road in reference to a theft.  Investigation revealed that the suspect removed clothing items and left the store without paying for the items.  Incident remains under investigation. 
  • On 3-22-13, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the TLC Medical Center parking lot located at 12145 Elm Street in reference to a vehicle crash.  Investigation revealed that as a vehicle was backing out of a parking space, it collided with another parked vehicle.  The crash caused minor damage and no injuries were reported.  
  • On 3-22-13, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to 11571 Somerset Avenue in reference to a theft.  Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) stole several items from the rear yard area.  Incident remains under investigation. 
  • On 3-20-13, the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the area of Somerset Avenue and Mt Vernon Road in reference to a vehicle crash.  Investigation revealed that as a vehicle was turning onto Mt Vernon Road from Somerset Avenue it was struck by another vehicle that was turning from Mt Vernon Road.  The crash caused minor damage and no injuries were reported. 
  • On 3-20-13, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested William Patrick Groton, 44, of Salisbury Maryland for disorderly conduct.  The arrest stemmed from a disturbance complaint at the Somerset County Tourism Center located at 11440 Ocean Highway.  Groton was released from custody after being issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct.
