UD Women's Golfers in 11th Place Following 1st Day of Intercollegiate

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga.- The University of Delaware women's golf team sits in 11th place out of 14 teams with a 665 team score on Monday following the first day of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia State.

The Blue Hens posted a 336 score during Monday's first round, before improving with a 329 score in the second round of the day. Old Dominion leads the field with a 621 team score, while Kent State is second with a 629 score.

Delaware sophomore Baralee Theinthong is tied for 11th place in the individual standings after ending her day with a 14 over par 76-82-158 on the par 72, 6,139-yard course at Eagle's Landing Country Club. Fellow sophomore Amanda Terzian finished the day in 57th place following her 25 over par score of 91-78-169 while senior Frida Nilsson, playing as an individual, is tied for 58th place after carding a 26 over par score of 85-85-170.

Sophomore Annie Bowlsby fired a 27 over par 82-89-171 to end the day in a tie for 62nd place, while freshman Vimonthip Benjasupawan is tied for 66th place as she fired a 29 over par 87-86-173. Freshman Nathalie Filler carded a 31 over par 92-83-175, and will enter Tuesday's round in a tie for 68th place.

Kimberley Bradbury of Old Dominion leads the field with a two over par 73-73-146, while Maria Andrea Legaspi sits six shots back.

The third and final round of the tournament begins Tuesday at 9 a.m.
