Police Arrest and Charge Man Who Drove Car Into Seaford Home

SEAFORD, Md.-Delaware State Police said that around 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning a 33-year-old man drove a car off of the roadway and into a house on Nichols Road in Seaford. 

Authorities said the car ended up going into the bedroom where a woman was sleeping and she was thrown into the hallway with minor injuries.

Police said it is not believed that there were any life threatening injuries. 

Police arrested the driver and charged him with DUI, second degree vehicular assault and criminal mischief.

He is being held on $2500 secured bond.
