Salisbury Men's Lacrosse Moves to No. 6 in latest USILA poll

BALTIMORE - The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team moved up one spot to No. 6 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III coaches' poll, the organization announced on Monday.

The Sea Gulls earned 219 points to stay 10 points ahead of Lynchburg College, which also moved up one spot to No. 7. Both teams benefited from Washington College dropping out of the top five from No. 4 to No. 9, this week.

The Gulls are coming off of a Capital Athletic Conference victory over Marymount (Va.) University, on Saturday.

The State University of New York at Cortland received all 15 first-place votes to earn 300 points and stay in the No. 1 spot, as one-of-two remaining undefeated teams. Dickinson College, the other undefeated, earned 282 points to remain at No. 2. Stevenson University and Tufts University both jumped Rochester Institute of Technology to move into the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively, while RIT dropped to No. 5.

The Sea Gulls are looking forward to their matchup with Stevenson on Wednesday at Sea Gull Stadium; the game is set for 7 p.m.
