Driver Killed When Deer Goes Through Windshield


OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP)- Baltimore County Police say a driver was killed when a deer hit by an oncoming vehicle was hurled through his windshield.

It happened about 3 p.m. in Owings Mills. Officers say a woman was driving an SUV south on Garrison Forest Road when a deer ran into the road.

Police say the SUV hit the deer, hurling it into the air and through the windshield of a northbound car driven by 56-year-old Daniel Mark Fisher of Baltimore.

Authorities say Fisher's car drove off the road and crashed into a fence. Fisher and the deer were killed.
