SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities say a 19-year-old man is facing multiple charges after officers seized drugs and firearms during a raid on a Salisbury apartment.

Anthony Hardy Jr. of Salisbury is charged with possession of a firearm by a person under 21, possession of ammunition by a person under 21, possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drugs with intent to distribute and reckless endangerment.

Police said that at around 1 a.m. Wednesday, March 27,  officers responded to the College Lane Apartments complex to investigate a complaint about people smoking marijuana inside an apartment. During the investigation, members of the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force were contacted and assisted in the investigation.

According to police, a search and seizure warrant was executed inside the apartment that resulted in the seizure of four handguns and one rifle. Officers said they also seized suspected marijuana, cocaine, and oxycodone pills during the raid. Some of the drugs were recovered from inside containers with a false hidden compartment, according to investigators.

Hardy was inside the apartment at the time of the raid and was taken into custody on the aforementioned charges. He was later released on $100,000 bond.
