Salisbury Police Probe Shooting

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police have launched an investigation after a weekend shooting that occurred following a street fight involving several people.

At around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a reported shooting that had occurred on the 600 block of Smith Street. Police said detectives determined that one projectile entered the front door of a home and exited through a rear window. The detectives recovered a shell casing and ammunition from the scene. No one was injured during the incident.

Police said the investigation revealed that prior to the shooting, several unknown people were involved in a fight in the street.
