BALTIMORE - The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team remains the No. 6 team in the country in Monday's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III coaches' poll, the organization announced.
There was no movement in the top-six teams, as the five teams ranked ahead of the Sea Gulls remained in the same spots. Salisbury is coming off of a week in which it fell to Stevenson University, 10-8, and defeated the University of Mary Washington, 20-4.
SU (11-3) earned 261 points, staying 10 points ahead of No. 7 Stevens Institute of Technology.
The State University of New York at Cortland was voted the unanimous No. 1 for the second-consecutive week, with all 18 first-place votes and 360 points. No. 2 Dickinson College, No. 3 Stevenson, No. 4 Tufts University and No. 5 Rochester Institute of Technology rounded out the top five.
Salisbury will finish out its regular season on a three-game road trip, starting with a visit to Capital Athletic Conference-foe Wesley College on Saturday; the opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m.
