WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - State police say a Townsend man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 495 in Wilmington.

Police say the 54-year-old man was driving in the southbound lanes when another car flipped over the guardrail and landed on the roof of his vehicle. The man died at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police say the driver of the other car was trying to change lanes when he saw another car going into the same lane. He swerved and lost control, driving into the median before hitting the guardrail and flying into the southbound lanes.

The 18-year-old driver of that car and a passenger were treated for minor injuries.

No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation.
