SALISBURY, Md.- Multiple fire crews responded to a Thursday morning fire that left a Salisbury apartment in ruins.

The fire broke out at around 7 a.m. at 408 Deborah Drive, near Woodview Square and Moss Hill Lane. Firefighters from the Salisbury and Delmar fire departments were called to the scene and got the fire under control before it could spread to nearby apartments.

Neighbors said the home's occupant was inside at the time of the fire, but managed to safely get out. There were no reported injuries.

Damage estimates are not yet available.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
