Terps Softball: Maryland Hosts BC for Weekend Series

COLLEGE PARK, Md. The Maryland softball team will welcome Boston College to Robert E. Taylor Stadium this weekend for a three-game series.

The Terps (23-22, 7-5 ACC) and the Eagles (10-27, 1-11) will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday and a single game at 1 p.m. Sunday. Admission and parking for both days are free.

Most recently, Maryland pounded the defending ACC champion Georgia Tech, 14-5, Sunday to take the series in a run-rule win in Atlanta. 

Maryland owns the all-time series over Boston College, 14-10, and has swept the last two series. The Terps have won 10 of the last 13 matchups, dating back to 2008. 

After this weekend, the Terrapins will host Delaware State Wednesday, April 24 in a 5 p.m. doubleheader at Robert E. Taylor Stadium. Admission is free and parking will be free after 4 p.m. Those games can be heard on WMUCSports.com
