Salisbury Man Steals, Pawns Items

SALISBURY, Md.- A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing from a victim Thursday afternoon.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said Mark A. Hinton, 26, of Salisbury, has been charged with theft, in the incident that happened around 4 p.m. Thursday.

The victim spotted one of the items, a jig saw, at a local pawn shop, according to police. Officers said another item that had been stolen and pawned was already sold by the pawn shop.

Authorities said records from the pawn shop indicated that Hinton had pawned both items.

Police said the jig saw was recovered, and Hinton was arrested at his home.

Hinton was taken to the Central Booking Unit, and sits behind bars with a $20,000.00 bond.
